Frances Winfield Bremer, the wife of Ambassador L. Paul Bremer III, is the new spokesperson for the NFA, according to this release. Mrs. Bremer was herself diagnosed with FMS 25 years ago. Her husband apparently plans to help out with his wife’s new responsibilities by being a “spokespouse” - good for him, I say. I wonder how many marriages have been crippled or destroyed by one spouse’s battle with fibro, or the other spouse’s inability to cope with it. Good to see two people like the Bremers fighting together.
